Cidra Scrapes Out 2-1 Win
Cidra Palomas starter Carlos Rubio was in fine form. He led his team to victory over the Salinas Pescadores, 2-1. The Palomas raised their record to 65-67.

Cidra used the timely hitting of Eduardo Quiñones to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Palomas on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Quiñones attributed the win to his team's "collective resolve."
