The Lares Fieles locked up a win at El Naranjal, knocking off the Las Marias Citricos, 6-4. On the mound for Lares was right-hander Elián Morales. He played a major role in the triumph. Lares goes to 56-76, Las Marias to 61-70.
With one out in the top of the third, Laureano Sandoval put Lares in front, 2-1, with a run-scoring single. The Fieles went on to win the ballgame.
"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Sandoval.
