In an excellent mound performance, Darren Fountain of the Aguadilla Colmillos blanked the Yauco Corsos, 3-0, on a 6-hitter.

"I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches," he said after the game.

In all, the Aguadilla hurler rang up 7 strikeouts and 2 walks in the shutout win.

"We just didn't swing the bats well today," said Corsos manager Tito Sandoval. "Fountain did a good job keeping us guessing."
