The Yabucoa Dulceros picked up a win at Estadio Teodosio Martínez, taking down the Manati Acropolitanos, 5-2. Starting pitcher Marcial Borjas was a big reason why. Yabucoa is now 75-61, Manati 62-73.

Ismael González drew 1 walk in 4 trips to the plate for Yabucoa. With no one out and the game tied in the bottom of the eighth inning, González had a clutch at-bat. Facing Manati hurler Zoilo Navarro, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run to give the Dulceros a 3-2 lead.

"We're stringing together some nice wins," said Yabucoa manager Jairo López.
