In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 2-2, 26-year old third baseman Roberto Gómez won it for Santa Isabel. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Gómez hit a 2-0 fastball from Rubén García for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 3-2 win.

"It's great to see the crowd jacked up," Gómez said.
