The Orocovis Caciques withstood an impressive performance by Maricao second baseman Enrique Medina to defeat the Cafeteros, 4-3, at Parque de los Cafeteros. Medina was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Gerardo Tinajero got credit for the win, improving to 11-19. He allowed 3 runs on 5 hits in 7.1 innings. At 69-71, the Caciques are currently first in the Liga Betances Centro.

Orocovis third baseman Elía Elizondo made an impact. He drilled a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth. For the game, Elizondo went 1 for 4 with a walk.
