Ceiba Wins, 4-3, in 12 Innings
The Ceiba Picudos picked up a win at Estadio Rolando Sandoval, knocking off the Vega Alta Martilleros, 4-3, in 12 innings. On the mound for Ceiba was right-hander Kane O'Leary. He played a pivotal role in the triumph. At 51-83, the Picudos find themselves in third place in the Liga Betances Noreste.

In the bottom of the 12th, Menendo Tafoya delivered the big blow for Ceiba, stroking a game-winning run-scoring single off Vega Alta pitcher Avelino Guillén.

"I liked his command," said Ceiba manager Mark Sparkman. "Kane was throwing strikes."
