Conditions were not ideal but Salinas and Patillas were able to put their game in the books.

Rubén Meza could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Patillas Cuervos lost, dropping a 3-2 decision to the Salinas Pescadores in 10 innings. Pascual Magdaleno was called on to finish, recording his 6th save.

Salinas used the timely hitting of Eurípides Solís to capture the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Pescadores on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.

"That was fun, that was just good baseball," said Solís.

With this game in the books, Salinas is 78-56, Patillas 73-62.
