The Dorado Ejemplares racked up a win at Coliseo Adán Romero, bumping off the Vega Alta Martilleros, 4-3. Jesús Escobales, who started for Dorado, pitched effectively for his team. Dorado reliever Theo Kelly was the winner. His record is now 6-5. The losing pitcher was Kavan Neligan. At 75-66, the Ejemplares claim second place in the Liga Betances Costa Norteña.

Afrodisio Acosta was the walk-off hero for Dorado. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Ejemplares designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"The ending was a real humdinger," Escobales told reporters after the game.
