Tijerina Lifts Matadioses to Win
The Anasco Matadioses picked up a win at Jardines de los Matadioses, dropping the Juana Diaz Reyes, 3-1. Premislao Tijerina was the difference-maker. Anasco is now 69-68. Juana Diaz is 85-53.

The Matadioses liked what they saw from Tijerina. The 22-year- old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Reyes to 1 run on 2 hits over 9 innings, and striking out 2.
