The Sheffield Talons picked up a win at London Grounds, knocking off the London Fog, 6-0. On the mound for Sheffield was left-hander Augusto Hernández. He played a key role in the triumph. At 53-57, the Talons find themselves in 4th place in the Baseball Federation of England & Wales English Baseball Championship.

Though he did not get the decision, Hernández did all he could to keep his team close, twirling a shutout through 12.2 innings, until Sheffield eventually rallied past the Fog.

"It's not by accident that Augusto finds ways to get outs," said Sheffield skipper Israel García.
