Lecheros Rally to Win

Both teams had their chances, but the Bayamon Lecheros eventually prevailed.
Toa Alta got a valiant performance from pitcher Laurent Dumoulin, but it wasn't enough to beat the Bayamon Lecheros. Bayamon won the game, 3-2. Dumoulin threw 7.1 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. The winner was Chae-ho Lee in relief. His record improves to 6-7. Luis Amador took the loss.
It could have been a different outcome for Bayamon, had it not been for Iften Bouaouiche, the 30-year old left fielder . Bouaouiche contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning to put Bayamon up, 3-2.
"Every loss stings," said Toa Alta manager Charlie McCullough. "This one is no exception."
Bayamon is now 63-77, Toa Alta 72-68.
