The Cardiff Arcadians withstood a fine game by Bangor first baseman Santiago Pacheco at Ballpark of Cardiff, to upend the Bishops, 5-4. Pacheco was 3 for 5 with 2 doubles. He drove in 3 runs. The winning pitcher was 35-year old right-handed pitcher Josh Jones. He tossed 135 pitches over 9 innings, allowing 4 runs on 9 hits. "Obviously, we're happy we came out on the winning side, but what a great game to watch, just as a fan of baseball," said Arcadians manager Cowal Molony.
