Ayala Muzzles Guayama Offense Saturday, September 26th , 1914 Efraín Ayala kept the Guayama Hechiceros hitters from doing much damage at Coliseo Germán Márquez. Guayama could only muster 6 hits and draw no walks against the right-handed Ayala, who controlled them throughout the game. San German won the contest, 2-0. Ayala added 2 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Ayala told reporters after the shutout win.
