Padilla Whips Florida, 6-0 Tuesday, September 29th , 1914 An efficient outing for Eduardo Padilla usually means a win for the Barceloneta Marineros and today was no exception. The 27-year-old right-hander held the Florida Mogotes to a long line of goose eggs. He struck out 3 and gave up 9 hits in the 6-0 shutout. "Eduardo really got it done out there today," said Barceloneta manager Dave Haskins. Padilla has posted a 22-7 record for the year with a 1.51 ERA.
