Herrera Magnificent in 8-0 Penuelas Triumph Monday, October 12th , 1914 Efraín Herrera spun his magic in a shutout victory at Coliseo Armando Vargas, 8-0, over the Hatillo Canarios. The Penuelas pitcher put quite a spell on Hatillo in a strong performance, allowing 5 hits while totaling 2 walks and 6 strikeouts. "I had a lot of good things working in this one," Herrera said.
