Puebla Trades Almeida to Monterrey for Ortiz Saturday, October 17th , 1914 It is being reported in Monterrey that the Cerveceros and the Puebla Mosqueteros have agreed on a trade. According to anonymous sources 19-year old LHP Marcos Ortiz will be dealt to the Mosqueteros in return for 26-year old LHP Adelmo Almeida. Since coming into the league, Almeida has a 153-126 mark and a 2.50 ERA. The 26-year-old hurler also has struck out 1383 batters in 2521 innings and permitted 2290 hits. |
