"He just kept the ball down, did a good job, made his pitches," said New Haven manager Demetrio Sosa. "We didn't do a good job making adjustments, so we helped him out a little bit." Borges, who is tied for 5th in the SNEA in wins with 18, fired a 1-hitter and totaled 9 strikeouts and 2 walks in the shutout performance.
