Coquis second baseman Baldovino Herrera put his stamp on his team's 11-7 win over the Trujillo Alto Macabeos. Herrera went 3-5 with 3 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2 for Caguas in the contest. The Coquis raised their record to 63-102.

Caguas used the timely hitting of Víctor Manuel Cervantes to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Coquis on top, 8-7. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Herrera.
